How can I update Page Title and Meta Description for Homepage

I’m using Hello Boho theme. 
If I go to “Pages”, the Homepage is not there. Which means I can’t simply use Yoast to update the Page title and meta description for this page. 
Currently, the Page Title for the Homepage is pulling {Site NAME} | {Site Tagline} and the meta description is {Site Tagline}
I’m looking for a solution to be able to update the meta description for the homepage. The meta description shouldn’t be automatically pulled as the {Site Tagline}, as this should be something unique and likely longer than the site tagline. Where can I access the backend of the homepage directly? Or how can I update the meta description and page title so that it isn’t using the Site Name and Tagline fields from customizer?

The best way is by using Yoast.  That will allow you to get very specific with the SEO and fully customize the output.  It will also allow you to get more specific on each page and post.  You can also go to the Genesis SEO settings as well under Genesis > theme settings.
