Page Hero Image on Blog Page

Hello! I am using the Hello Chic theme, and I love the look of the theme, especially the Page Hero Images.
However, the Page Hero Image for my blog page will not show. I\’ve checked to ensure that I\’m meeting the size requirements of the image, and I haven\’t had any other issues with Page Hero Images on any other pages.

It is hard to say what is preventing it from showing.  It doesn’t look like the blog template is working correctly.  Please email us at support@helloyoudesigns.com your login, or create us a username with admin permissions.    Once we can hop on and take a look at everything, it should be an easy fix.

Hi I am having this issue too!!! I try to replace the image by removing the old one and then uploading a new (correct size image) but it keeps defaulting to the removed image! Any pointers would be much appreciated x

This will happen from time to time. Once saved and the post is re-published with the changes it should show the image you change to.

The issue is that the settings were not correct for the site.  Under Settings > Reading > it needs to be on Latest Posts for the site to work.  Otherwise the site tries to assign a homepage and a blog page, which will not work with your custom blog templates.  Once I changed the settings your image now shows.  There is a height restriction on that image spot.  If you would like that removed so the full image will show, please let us know and I can adjust your code.
