Dear HelloYouDesigns,
I am attempting to use the Call To Action section on the Hello Gorgeous theme for something other than E-news signup. I would like to get rid of the black box border in this section. I was able to change the fill color to white in the WP Theme Customizer, however I still have the black border. Can you tell me which code sheet I must edit and on what line to do this? 
So far I have looked in the \”Call To Action\” section of the sheet style-front.css but none of my changes result in the border disappearing.
 
I will be placing a linked banner image in this section.

Go to your Style front css and on line 599 you will see this
 
.home-cta .widget {
border: 1px solid #333;
 
Delete the entire border line, or change the color to any color you would like. Let me know if you have any issues.

Hi Jennifer,

Sadly, that didn’t work for me either. I attempted to 1) Change the color from #333 to #fff (white) 2) Change the value to 0px, and then 3) Change the entire border line to “none”

None of the options seem to make a difference, the black border still remains.

That is the correct code to change.  Who are you hosting with?  Did you make sure to clear your hosting cache?  Hosts like Siteground, flywheel, wpengine all have a hosting cache that you need to clear in your hosting account.  If that still does not work, send me your hosting login and the site login to jennifer@helloyoudesigns.com
