Hello & Team: Issues with importing Demo Content

I am trying to import the step 1 and step 2 files for Hello and Team.

When I import step 1 I get the following failed errors:
Failed to import portfolio_category Portfolio Category 1
Failed to import portfolio_category Portfolio Category 2
Failed to import portfolio_category Portfolio Category 3
Failed to import “Lena”: Invalid post type testimonial
Failed to import “Amanda”: Invalid post type testimonial
Failed to import “Anabelle”: Invalid post type testimonial
Failed to import “Homepage”: Invalid post type testimonial_rotator

I have gone through my plugins and confirmed all required plugins are there.
Also, I cannot import the WEI file.
This is the error I get when I try
You must upload a .wie file generated by this plugin (help).

Also, if I do the copy and paste method Wordfence blocks the attempt.

Those failed to imports are for the Portfolio Post Type Plugin and the Testiomonial Rotator plugin. Are they installed and active? The active part is key. If not active, but just installed the content that needs to be assigned to them will fail.

For the WIE, download the One click Demo import plugin and then you can load it in that way.

Let me know if that still does not help.

I installed ALL of the plug-ins on the list. What is the testimonial plugin needed also the portfolio plugin. I just double-checked and they are not on the list.

You are correct they are not on the list but should have been. Hello Team uses the testimonial rotator in the footer. The Portfolio is to give the filterable portfolio you see in the main demo. I’ve updated the setup guide, sorry about that. I don’t know why they were not listed.
