is there a way  to have the title to show up on the archive page of the blog posts. so for instance this page is a category page that shows all my blog posts, but the title shows on the image and its blank beneath, is there a way to add the title beneathe as well

You can add this to your additional CSS to have them show all the time.
 
.grid-overlay {
color: #000;
opacity: 1;
}
 
To have them move below the images would take some decent reworking of the archive code.  You can email jennifer@helloyoudesigns.com and let her know what you would like, she can provide a quote.
