Cannot change Copyright Footer in Hello Beaches

Hello! I have tried for over two hours to change the copyright footer at the bottom of my site. I searched video after video, looked through multiple questions, and even tried plugins (which did not work). I have no clue how to change the footer. I want it display the copyright for my site, year, and the terms and conditions/privacy policy as links, and have been unsuccessful. There is no option to change the footer anywhere (that I can see). Please help! Thank you!

If this is for a Genesis theme then it is done in your functions.php file in the theme file itself. 
If this is a Kadence theme, you go to Appearance > Customizer > Footer > Then Copyright.  There you can add anything you would like to the copyright portion of the footer.  I’ve attached a screenshot.

Thank you for that info! However, I tried locating the functions.php file and I cannot find the theme editor anywhere. I’m also hesitant to use it as I am brand new to web design and have little to no shorthand code knowledge.

Oh never mind! I found the function.php file; it was disabled by Siteground automatically. I switched it off for now, but I am still hesitant to edit the code as I don’t want my website to crash.

If you would like we can modify the footer.  I’ll need the URL and login info sent to support@helloyoudesigns.com  Then what did you want it to say?
