Carousel Gallery & Kadence Blocks

I’ve been trying to add a basic carousel gallery to both the wedding & portrait pages on my website, to no avail. I thought I had a work around by selecting a rotating block section, deleting the side text box and making it 1 column. However, now the white border box behind it is still stuck to one side and not surrounding the entire photo area.
I’ve also tried to go into my design gallery and select Kadence, to choose just a basic block, it says ”
Error, Unable to access library, please reload this page in your browser.”
In the old Kadence based theme I was using I was able to bounce between both the theme blocks and standard Kadence blocks. Now it wants me to activate Kadence, but then it removes the Iris theme design.

For the slide, what was it doing that wasn’t working? Is it not auto playing?
