Determine which pages are active and visible vs. pages that are active but not visible unless they opt-in
I typed in “Help with variation pages,” and clicked on the wording, but no question came up. I don’t know how to configure the website so that
1) Make is so that only 1 homepage displays and get rid of the others
2) Get rid of the drop down on home page
3) I want the freebie resources page to be active, but not available when they go to the website unless they provide their email.
4) I would like add a freebie for each blog post, but only available if they provide name, email, and phone number. Is there a way to configure the freebie resources page so that I have multiple freebies, but they can only access the freebie if they gave me their email for that blog post. Does that make sense
1 – If you go to appearance > Menus > you can remove the additional homepage and demo pages from the menu. Then under Pages > you can either place the demo pages as drafts so they are not on the site, or delete them. In your library block editor you have every single demo page that can be loaded again at a later time.
2- This would be at appearance > menus. You can delete any dropdown items and customize the menu. Also keep in mind that with kadence you have a mobile menu as well and any adjustment you make to the left and right menu, you will also want to do to the mobile menu.
3- This will depend on how you want to set it up. Usually you will have a landing page that has an optin on it to provide an email. Then once they provide that email they will either be redirected to the freebie page, emailed the freebie, or given a password to the freebie page. The redirection, email, or password is provided by your newsletter provider after they complete the optin.
4 – Yes, this is all done with your newsletter provider. You create unique forms for those freebies, or that specific post. Then once they fill out the form your provider either redirects them to the page to get the freebie, it emails them the freebie, or gives them a password if you have it password protected.
