Is it safe to update to this new genesis? I have Hello Darling 2.0

If you have the latest version of the theme you will be good. All themes are on the latest version of WordPress, Genesis and PHP. If it is the Darling 2.0.0 you need to upgrade to Darling 2.0.6.
