I tried adding code from Flodesk using the Insert Header and Footer plugin because I couldn’t find a way to add it anywhere else. Now my site seems to be broken and the entire theme style and formatting is off. I can’t access the html to remove it. Please help.

You would need to remove the code from the header footer plugin. That happens when either the full bits of code were not added, or there is an issue preventing scripts from running on your theme. Usually with flodesk you click on advanced options and get the raw html code to add to a block. Header spots are if you want a popup optin.
