How to adjust the columns in the Hello Chic Kadence Theme

I need to make the boxes smaller, so that the images won’t be so large.  Here is a screenshot and as you can see there is a lot of space under the writing at the right. I’m thinking it’s because the image is large. I made my images 600 x800. when I make them smaller, they are either too tiny or large as you can see .
