Hi! I installed the Hello Maker theme but my current home page looks nothing like the demo. I’ve imported the XML file. What am I missing?

After you import the demo content you also have to do the widget file. Go to Tools > Widget importer and import the WIE file. That is what will push the content you imported to your homepage widgets.
