Menu Descriptions for Subcategories – Questions

Hello, I followed the answer for a similar question (I have SEO descriptions for my categories and the drop down menu was pulling the entire paragraph), so I had the resolution code removed…and now the extra text *over* my menu items are gone (Hello Coach theme).

Is there a way to NOT have the long descriptions, but DO have the additional wording above?

Unfortunately, there is not a way to have both. That spot can be used for a long description for SEO purposes or design. There is not another way to hook into the menu for that accent text.
