Hi there,
I recently purchased the Hello Niche theme. I’m trying to replicate the interior about page and cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to do it. I’m using gutenburg and the genesis blocks. I’ve inspected the code on the website itself and because it’s just a CSS after marker, I can’t find the trail to it. Can you help me get it on my site please?

In the additional css for that image, you would add either colorblockleft or colorblockright if you want it on the right side.

Thanks for the information on that. I still can’t seem to get it to work. Just from a feedback perspective, it would be nice if there were tutorials on how to build some of the basic interior pages for cohesiveness. I understand how to use the blocks and such but part of what sells the theme is the cohesive look of the other pages and it’s hard to figure out. I consider myself pretty well versed in html and css coding but this one is just stumping me for something reason.

I’m looking in to doing something that walks you through the Genesis Block Layout. Just haven’t figured out a good format for it. For this spot if you click on the image that you want to add the block to, it will give you options over on the right, click on the “Advanced” dropdown towards the bottom, and then where it says “Additional CSS classes” add either colorblockleft, or colorblockright.

Hi Jennifer! Thank you for getting back to me and sorry for my delayed response. I don’t know how I missed that in the genesis block layout. I figured it out though, in terms of why I was so frustrated. I didn’t realize that there were Genesis specific blocks I had to download to make it look the way the demo looks. Once I found that, I was able to work much easier to get the looks that I was going for.

Also, just wanted to mention in case anyone else has this issue…. I’ve had a heck of a time with the slowness of my website because I wasn’t using the genesis blocks. Instead, I had purchased visual bakery and was using that, but the response time on my site is painfully slow and it’s not mobile friendly AT ALL. So… whatever you do, stick to the genesis blocks!

That WPBakery builder is terrible. A lot of times when we go trouble shoot something, deactivating it fixes the issues. I do love the Genesis Blocks. If it does not give you all the functions you want the two other popular are Elementor and Beaver Builder.

OMG, yes! WPBakery is horrible. I loved it for its simplicity. I tried Elementor about a year or so ago but it didn’t have as much as WPBakery/Visual Composer did, but I won’t use it again.

Anyway, last comment for now. I also wanted to say how much I absolutely love the Hello Niche theme. I love your other templates too, bit this one managed to combine my love of darker tones and handwritten script in a way that felt more my style. It’s everything I could have ever wanted. So thank YOU!
