Soliloquy Slider in Home Grid 3

Hello, I am issues with the soliloquy slider in home grid 3 for the Hello Gorgeous theme. I have correctly installed the images and the sizes are both 1400×900 (i.e., in the configuration of the plugin).  I have the custom CSS in the widgets section however after saving, then publishing and even clearing the cache I still only see 1 image and not the 2nd image.   How can I resolve this issue?

Hi Jen, I got it to work by reviewing the instructions here and changing custom css widget to a text widget.
