Unsure how to edit pages

I have watched the videos and read through the instructions, but I am still not clear how to edit pages and create a cohesive site. I am new to the Kandence theme, and feel pretty lost.

When you click in to edit a page, you will see the images and wording that makes up that page. If it is not a background image, you can click on it and change it. If it is a background image you change it over on the right in the block editor. The wording, click and change. Is there a particular spot that is giving you troubles? I can try to attach screenshots on how to change it.
