I am currently trying to edit the homepage and no matter which page i edit related to the homepage i get that response. I am able to edit and save other pages like about or contact but not the homepage. I’ve cleared cache, restarted computer, closed out pages and I also reset permalinks. I usually don’t have this issue at all. Please help! thanks

On that page it can either be the custom html code for the newsletter form.  Try deleting that and saving.  If it is not that, then it will most likely be your testimonial rotator.  Try deleting it and saving.  Then you can readd it.  Sometimes there are minor hiccups when the demo is imported and your site doesn’t like the settings.
