Hi there!

Below are Google docs with the error messages I’ve received. I’m not sure what I did or what went wrong along the way. Any help would be appreciated! Edit: Also, for some reason the page won’t let me change the category for my question, so my apology if it gets put in the wrong one.

For the XML errors, what has failed are all of the items that would be assigned to the shop.  This happens when the Woocommerce plugin is not installed.  If you do not plan on using it, then that is okay.
 
The widget areas are saying that the area does not exist.  this happens when you do not have the theme activated.  If you go to Appearance > Themes > your active theme will be the first theme listed.  It should be the theme that you purchased from the shop.

Thank you so much for your quick response! I installed and activated the Woocommerce plugin since I’ll be using it in the future anyways. Regarding the theme, I’m confused about what to do. I purchased the genesis framework, which said it required a genesis child theme but the genesis installation instructions wasn’t specific about what to use. Right now, I have genesis sample as the theme. How do I activate the theme I purchased?

When I look at the getting started instructions from the Hello & Co theme setup page, all it says relating to installing/activating the theme is : “1.Install the Genesis Framework and make sure it’s activated. 2. Install the Theme and activate it.” I’m missing a few steps somewhere regarding how to specifically activate the theme I purchased because it’s not in my themes as an installed theme to activate. Is there a specific theme file I need to upload into themes to be able to install/activate it because I couldn’t find anything of that sort in the hello team folder. I’m honestly lost.

You would go to appearance > Themes > Add New then load in your theme file.  If it is already loaded you would locate it and activate it. 
 
The theme file will be that Hello Team Zip folder you downloaded.
