Getting demo content on home page

I’ve installed all plugins and child theme. I can’t get the actual demo content from the home page to show up on the home page. How do I do this?

Have you imported the demo content?  It may also be the settings.  What is the URL to preview?

I did import the demo content

It looks like the demo content was imported but not the WIE file. That file is what sets up your homepage widgets and makes the homepage look like the demo. Go to tools > widget importer and import the WIE file.  After you do that it will look like the demo.

Hi there! I purchased Hello Chic theme and am facing the same issues as well in regards to importing the demo content. I tried uploading the .wie file, but got this response “You must upload a .wie file generated by this plugin.” Which plugin?

Make sure it is Tools > Widget Importer > Import and then you load in the WIE. If you still get that message it is from your WordPRess not being up to date. If it is up to date, please start a new thread, make it private and include your URL and login for us to log on and see why it is not importing.

Hi – I can’t get the content to load properly on the home page for the Hello Beauty theme. When I upload the widgets they are not labeled and organized as they should be according to the theme documentation.
