At the top of http://www.websbyamy.com, I noticed that as the page loads, the image first appears correctly for about 2 seconds and then get smaller and pushed to the right instead of centered. The theme is the latest version and you recently fixed the blog pagination issue, so I’m at a loss. I haven’t done anything new, I’ve also turned off all plugins and it still views that way. I don’t go to my home page a lot, so

I sent you an email yesterday with my login. Thanks in advance, Jennifer.

Could you shoot me over a screenshot.  When I view the site, it looks good.  I’ve attached a screenshot of how it looks on my end.  Also what browser are you using?

Thanks for checking that for me, your screenshot is not how it should look.

I made a video because in Chrome it only shows properly for a second before it looks like the pictured (the image should be centered and larger). It appears like your screenshot in Firefox for me (which is not how it should appear. Screenshot of ‘change’ (~3 seconds): https://www.screencast.com/t/nFGNu4hin

Below is how it should appear, but does not in Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

I appreciate you looking at this for me!

You have something in the site that is trying to optimize your images for speed.  So when the image loads at it’s normal size, your site thinks it only needs a 1024*485 version for that spot and that is what it is pulling.  I turned off the Rocket Plugin thinking that would help and it did not.  Do you know of a setting somewhere in one of these plugins or on your hosting end that is trying to optimize image sizes?

Thanks so much! It turns out–very strangely, that the issue is the Simply Social Icons… bummer! Can you suggest a different plugin that does the same thing.
