Hello!

I purchased Hello Boho and had two quick questions:

First, I went to adjust the services section as I wanted to link to 3 different pages, but after I changed it from the demo setup, the formatting was off and the colors werent being applied. I have since tried to change it back to Blog, where it was, and the formatting won’t return to nornal… What I want is to have 3 links similar to how I have http://www.hilarycolleen.com , but what I’m currently getting you will see at hilarycolleen.wpstagecoach.com . Help?

My second question about the homepage is that I would Love to be able to change the text for the buttons in the 3-across widget section to NOT feature the page title but text that I add. So instead of saying “experience roadmap” which is the name of one of my pages, I’d like it to say “start here” How do I do this?

The widget areas are flexible. In the setup guide you will see a flex chart on how they flex. The first widget will always be 100% width and is great for a intro message or title. Or of course you can leave it blank. Then the widgets below it are what will flex and move. So to fix this, add an empty text widget to the first widget spot in that widget section. Then those 3 widgets will appear at 1/3 each below.

For this, the theme styling was to pull the page name. There is not really a way to adjust that. What you would want to do is add styling for the title of the widget, to look like the page name spot. Or you could always rename the page, to Start Here.

So, your second paragraph kind of answers my second question but not completely, and your first paragraph doesn’t really solve the issue.

If you go to hilarycolleen.wpstagecoach.com , you will see that in the Home Services area, the first widget is pulling a blog POST despite the fact that this section is set to link to a page. It seems there is an error in some of the theme’s coding for this and I can send you a screenshot of the widget area showing this if need be.

I have also noticed that in the Home Services area, only the first widget does the zoom effect when you hover over it.

There is not code in the theme that would direct between a page or post, it is all handled with in the individual widgets that you use. Are you sure that you are not using the featured post widget, vs a featured page? I think I may need a screenshot because when I look at the site now, everything looks lined up good and all are going to pages you have linked.
For the zoom it is in the way that the images are added to the Featured Advanced plugin. If you would like to send over the login, I can hop on and adjust the settings in the widget.
