Remove Blog from Homepage

Hi,
I like to remove the Blog from my Homepage. But when i select this option there is the whole Blogsite on my Homepage. If i Select one Page to show on my Homepage i see the Title of the Page in the Widget
What should i do to remove the Blog?

The site in the settings should be Settings > Reading > Latest Posts
 
Then to remove the blog from the homepage you go to Appearance > Customizer > Front Page Content and select hide.
 
If that is not working, I may need to see how you have it set up.
