Search bar widget color

Hi there,
I have a search bar widget on the sidebar and the text color and outline are so light it can’t be read. I googled and found that it goes by the main background color and accent color. Those should have contrast. I can’t find anywhere else where I can fix that setting. Please advise.

This was not like that before switching to Iris, and I have run into this problem in different places where I’ve added the search bar block.

The search block is editable in the editor so you can select any color combo you want based on where it is shown. For the sidebar, If you go to Appearance > Widgets > then where it is in the sidebar, click it and on the right in the editor window, click the half circle. There you can set the background and text color. It will also be the same for anywhere else you have it added. I’ve attached a screenshot.
