Traditional Blog blank

I am trying to use the Traditional Blog. When I go to edit it, only the name (‘Blog’) shows on the page. The rest of the page is blank in the editor. The custom blog does not have this issue. The Traditional Blog template also does not show up in my Design Library.

The traditional blog is only an archive, which is why it is blank and not in the library. You can not modify that page. It gets the posts filtered to it by wordpress automatically.

Are the posts showing on that page, or is it blank when you view it also? To have the posts show on that page you need to go to the dashboard, then Settings > Reading > then assign the blog page to your post spot.

Thanks for your help! How do I edit the sidebar information then (picture + ‘hello orchid demo’ and text box)? The posts show when I view, but I cannot see where to edit the sidebar section.

With the sidebar, that is a widget area. You go to Appearance > Widgets. Then you will see the sidebar widgets that are there.
